Create a workspace and invite your team
A workspace is your company inside Projectri. Everything — projects, tasks, channels, documents and reports — belongs to one, and people you invite only ever see the workspace they were invited to.
Creating one
- Go to projectri.com and choose "Create a workspace"
- Give it your company name; the web address is generated from it
- Pick the country you operate in — this sets the working week and public holidays used by capacity and utilisation reports, so it is worth getting right
Inviting people
- Open Admin, then Members, then Invite
- Enter their email address and choose a role
- They receive an email with a link that expires; they set their own password
Roles, briefly
- Admin can change company settings, manage members and see every project
- Member works on the projects they are added to
- Viewer can read but not change
- Guest is for clients and contractors, and sees only what you share
Permissions are finer-grained than these four names suggest. Admin, then Permissions, lists every individual action and which roles hold it.
